Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
These terms govern your use of ShareTree. Creating an account means you accept them. They are written plainly on purpose.
Who provides the service
ShareTree is operated by ShareTree LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@sharetree.app.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract.
- Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your staff members do.
What you may not do
- Use ShareTree for anything unlawful, or to harass anyone.
- Try to identify anonymous customers, or use feedback to retaliate against them.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages through the service.
- Break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or resell it as your own.
- Upload malware, or content you have no right to use.
Your customers' feedback
Feedback belongs to the customer who wrote it. You may read it, reply to it, and use it to run your business. You may not present it as a public review, publish it in a misleading way, or attempt to unmask the person who sent it. ShareTree is deliberately anonymous, and using it to pressure or identify a customer is a breach of these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of your business name, logo and anything you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your content, show it back to you, and display your business name on the ShareTree your customers scan.
Plans and payment
- The Twig plan is free, with no time limit and no card required.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the prices shown on our pricing page.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. You keep your plan's features until the end of the period you have paid for, then return to the free plan.
- We do not give refunds for partial months, but if something goes wrong on our side, email us — we would rather fix it than argue about it.
- If prices change, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email.
Availability
We work to keep ShareTree running, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your conversations.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using ShareTree and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that is being used to harm customers or the service. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first.
Disclaimer and liability
ShareTree is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders and update the date above. Continuing to use ShareTree after a change means you accept the new terms.
